- Talk: There is 30 minutes for each talk and 60 minutes for each keynote talk both including Q&A. Chair invites/introduces the speaker; Talk; Q&A.
- Note: Internet service and laptops with Windows and Mac system are provided in the conference, together with remoter and laser pointer. Please give us your slides before your talk if there is any difference from the one you sent before.
- Room reservation at Wenjin International Hotel is kept for the nights of September 12-18, 2010 (Beijing Time, GMT+8).
- Reimbursement will be made according to the invitation letter. Please keep the original receipt/invoice for all the reimbursable expenses.
- Reimbursement for air travel can only be made for the travel of economy class (economy airfare at the minimum of the amount) between your university and Beijing. Please let us know in advance if there is any change. And following items are needed for flights reimbursement:
- the original air ticket or the itinerary of e-ticket for air transportation
- the original receipt/invoice
- boarding passes
- a copy of your passport
- a copy of your visa
- a copy of the invitation letter
- Please give us all above reimbursement materials of your leave trip when you register, and sent us those of your return trip as well as your bank information and/or remittance address in 15 days after your arrival. The flight fare will be sent to you in 30 working-days after we receive all your materials.
- Please pay attention to the Air Ticket Price Reference for Economy Class in CTW 2010. If the price of your ticket exceeds the referring price, please let us know, and we will decide the amount for reimbursement according to your request.
- Weather: The climate in Beijing is of the continental type. In September, the heat begins to let off as it leads the way to autumn. Average high temperature is 25.7°C, and average low temperature is 13.8°C.
- Electricity in China runs on 220V, 50 cycles AC. Be sure to take adapters if necessary.
Electrical Outlets in China:
- The time in Beijing is GMT+8, please check watches during your stay in China
- The taxi in Beijing costs 2 RMB per kilometer and 10 RMB for first 3 kilometers. An additional fuel fee of ¥1 will be charged if the distance exceeds 3 kilometers. The charge would be 20% higher after 15 kilometers or during the night time (11p.m - 5a.m).
