Citizens of some countries may need a visa to attend ICS 2011 in China. The China Ministry for Foreign Affairs has an official website for visas. Please check with your nearest Chinese consular representation the documents required to obtain a visa. If you do need a visa, please plan to apply early, since the process maybe can often take several weeks.
Normally, a tourist visa (Visa L) is ok, but if you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa, please do the application online.
The invitation letter can only be issued after your registration to ICS 2011.
By default a scanned (signed) letter of invitation will be sent via email as an attachment. If you need an original hardcopy invitation letter, please let us know.
