Introduction

The China Symposium on Theoretical Computer Science series invites distinguished researchers from all parts of the world to discuss exciting current developments and to debate on the future research trends in our field. This is a newly created series, and each time the symposium will have a special theme as the focus of the meeting. The First China Symposium will take place this October, with a focus on accelerating our educational agenda. We have invited twenty leading researchers who have made a commitment in research collaboration and student exchange with our Institute. Our students will get a chance to meet with these renowned scholars whose work the students have often studied and admired in textbooks and research papers.
