Call for papers
The Fifth China Wireless Sensor Network (CWSN2011) and the Fifth Anniversary Celebration of China Computer Federation Technical Committee on Sensor Network, hosted by China Computer Federation, Co-hosted by China Computer Federation Technical Committee on Sensor Network and organized by Tsinghua University and Institute of Software of Chinese Academy of Sciences, will be held at China National Convention Center, September 26-27, 2011. Papers presenting new and original research on wireless network and embedded sensing and control are sought.
Mission:The conference aims to provide a forum of sensor network for the researchers, developers, and users in this field; promote the exchanges on the theory and application of wireless sensor network and probe into the typical challenging problem and research on sensor network. It will be a high-level conference that focuses on the theory of sensor network, algorithm, systems, applications and other forward-looking problems. In addition, CWSN2011 will offer opportunities to exchange ideas on hot topics, including CPS and the internet of things.
Well-known scholars will be invited to deliver keynote speeches and meanwhile, wireless sensor network corporations will present their latest technologies at the conference. The conference may designate up to papers accepted to the conference as CWSN Best Papers and Best Student Papers. Some of the accepted papers (at least 60) will be recommended to Journal of Computer Research and Development, Journal of Instrument and Control, and an exclusive supplement to Journal of Software (EI Indexed) and papers in English will be recommended to Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks, and International Journal of Sensor Networks (IJSNet) (SCI Indexed). The others will be published in the supplement to Journal of Computer Research and Development. Papers and demos on the latest results, new applications and new approaches in sensor network are encouraged as well. The Awards of Best Papers and Best Demo will be also granted at the conference.

Submission Requirements
- Papers should be original, presenting the latest research results, and material that has been previously published (in a journal or at a conference) or presented will not be considered for acceptance at CWSN 2011.
- Submission in English or Chinese should be in full text in WORD format. Submissions should begin with a title, followed by an abstract, keywords, body and bibliography. Authors’ information should include the title of the paper, authors’ full name, affiliation, email, address, telephone, and fax. Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that was published elsewhere.
- Papers should not exceed 8 pages (not counting the author’s information).
- Papers in Chinese should meet the formatting requirements by Journal of Software or Journal of Instrument and Control or Journal of Computer Research and Development, while papers in English should meet the formatting requirements by Ad Hoc Sensor Wireless Networks and International Journal of Sensor Networks (IJSNet)
