The easiest way to get to your hotel is by taxi. There is a taxi rank on the lowest floor of arrivals at the airport (take the escalator or lift down after passing through customs). It is important to take a taxi from the official queue, as although you may be approached in the lounge by polite English-speaking drivers, these will try to charge you up to 1000RMB for the journey. On the other hand, the official taxis cost 13 Yuan for the first three kilometers and 2.3 Yuan per kilometer thereafter, and so will only cost about 120-150 Yuan in total (including the Airport Highway fare, which is 10 Yuan) from Capital Airport to your hotel. This trip usually takes 45 minutes, but may cost slightly more and take longer in the rush hours (8:00am-10:00am and 4:30pm-7:00pm).
There are few taxi drivers that can speak English, so it is strongly recommended to have destinations written out in Chinese. The following Chinese notes could be shown to the driver to take a taxi to your hotel.
